How the CryptoValue Score is calculated — transparent, data-driven, and backtested.

Overview

The CryptoValue Score is a proprietary 0-100 composite score that measures the fundamental value of a cryptocurrency. It combines 10 weighted metrics across on-chain data, developer activity, tokenomics, and market dynamics.

Data Confidence

Not all coins have the same data availability. We assign a confidence level (Full, Standard, Limited) based on how many data sources are available for each coin.

Backtesting & Calibration

Weights are calibrated quarterly by backtesting against actual 90-day forward returns. This ensures the score remains predictive and not just descriptive.
